The Digital Sea is a dark and moody take on Nintendocore, which gives it an identity of its own. Nothing sounds quite like it, and why bother when it's already done so well here? The concept is interesting, and each guest spot seamlessly adds to its track. This is an essential entry in the genre, and one of Unicorn Hole's personal faves. <3 Unicorn Hole

This self-titled EP is a spastic, lofi cybergrind romp. It dips its toes in more melodramatic and experimental sounds here and there, but most of what it offers is breakneck aggression. The vocals are mostly the brutal screams you would expect, but in small bursts they channel Daryl Palumbo or even Keith Buckley. Admittedly a bit raw for me, but I still dig it! Unicorn Hole
