The moon is high and it shines so bright. Something tells me that tonight’s our night.
Here’s to hoping that I don’t fumble on my words.
For so long now I’ve felt alone, but in your arms I feel at home.
I’d give my all just to hold you for tonight.
Let’s seize this moment and set it all aside.
I hope you’re feeling what I’m feeling, but we’ll let fate decide.
You’ve got me feeling dizzy, my eyesight starts to blur.
Hold me close and turn the page, let’s all grow happier.
The sweet smell of your perfume fills the air inside the room.
You pull me closer and our hands begin to explore.
The moon is high and it shines so bright. Something tells me that tonight’s our night.
But part of me feels that something’s not quite right.
And suddenly, a turn for the worst.
How could I be so blind at first?
There are secrets that we must hide.
Your secret was between your thighs.

BORN TO DIE knows the exact moment to snap back from blistering, discordant insanity into melodic, chippy runs. There's much to praise packed into this short EP, but it's the pacing that impresses me most every time. The vocals are harsh but it's somehow very easy to understand the lyrics, which make me hope James is okay, just sayin. Anyway, yeah, dig this hard! Unicorn Hole
